In our experience, these motors are reliable outside of the mid section which hold the power steering system and the trim system. It's been very common for the factory original mid section to have problems. The main work we do on these motors is fixing or replacing the factory original mid section. We have very few if any mid section problems after the factory original was replaced. The mid section on this motor was replaced under warranty in May of 2026.
